Statue symbolizes the healing touch of nurses

CARING HANDS— Adventist Health Simi Valley and the Daisy Foundation unveiled a statue called "A Healer's Touch" on May 9 to recognize nurses for the compassionate, skillful care they provide patients and families. The stone statue, handcarved by artists from Zimbabwe's Shona tribe, is on permanent display at the hospital.
